Dan Botkin is a scientist, married to Diana Perez, and divides his time between Boca Raton Florida and New York City. The son of the famous folklorist, Benjamin A. Botkin, he has served on the board of directors of the American Folklife Center and is continued his father’s to study, research, and learn about folklore and folk music throughout his life.

Sergio Cavalieri is a music producer/film maker and a successful professional musician. He and Dan joined together to promote folk music in the 21st century and to show it this generation the value and the beauty of American folk music.
